After its success in India, the Realme brand is also making a name for itself in the European smartphone market. This brand not only offers models with excellent quality / price ratios, but also wants to position itself as an innovator.
Realme could soon impress us with its new wireless charging technology. Madhav Seth, Realme CEO for Europe and India, posted an image on Twitter showing a loading case.
I just stepped out of our Realme Labs and couldn’t wait to take a quick look at what was to come.

And if you zoom in well, you’ll notice that on this box it says that the maximum capacity is 125W. On the flip side, Realme’s CEO states that this is a preview of the launch and suggests that something faster will happen in Europe.
125W is a very large capacity that allows users to charge compatible devices very quickly. Additionally, it should be noted that this is not the first time Realme has talked about 125W charging.
33% in three minutes?
According to the Indian website ndtv.com, Realme introduced this technology called UltraDART Flash Charging in July. The Chinese brand would also have stated that a smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery should charge 33% in three minutes and 100% in about twenty minutes.
Unfortunately, Realme gives no indication of the first device to use this new technology. But apparently this one will be available in Europe.
Smart phone manufacturers are not using breakthrough technologies that can store more energy in the same volume and are developing fast charging technologies. These technologies are all the more important in 5G as they could consume more energy or encourage users to use their smartphones more often.
