Broadway legend Patti LuPone cast a dramatic shadow on Donald Trump, mocking his strange appearance on the balcony when he returned to the White House.
Donald Trump returned to the White House on Monday, October 5, after being hospitalized for three nights at Walter Reed Military Medical Center for COVID-19.
After Trump was dropped off in the helicopter, he decided to do a photoshoot, climb the steps to the balcony, and tear off his mask.
But his climb up the stairs took that away from him and he stood on the balcony, breathing heavily, as he greeted the cameras and raised his thumb.
Despite his doctor insisting that he was “not out of the woods,” Trump entered the White House, still without a mask.
The president’s stance on the virus, which has killed more than 200,000 Americans, has upset many, but no one has cast a better shadow than Broadway icon Patti LuPone.
Trump’s appearance on the White House balcony eerily resembled an Andrew Lloyd Webber scene Evita, with LuPone. Evita also happens to be Trump’s favorite musical.

Comparing the two scenes, LuPone wrote on Twitter: “I still have lung strength and wore less make-up. This revival ends on November 3rd. “”

Fans insisted that LuPone “won the Internet” with one letter: “Me I haven’t stopped laughing in the past three hours. Patti LuPone is a national treasure! Donald Trump, You are unable to step onto his balcony!

Another revised the lyrics to “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina”, Write: “Don’t cry for me, Coronita, the truth is that you never left me.
“During my maskless days, my stupid persistence. I kept my promise, no social distancing.
Addressing his balcony appearance in a Video Trump, posted on Twitter, later said, “As your leader, I had to do it, I knew there was a danger, but I had to do it. I got noticed. I drove. Nobody who is a leader would do what I did.
“I know there is a risk. There is a risk, but it’s okay and I’m better now. Maybe I’m immune, I don’t know.
