Enola Holmes, the hope of a franchise?
The film received a lot of positive reviews and, above all, left the room to produce a sequel thanks to a very open ending. Since this is an adaptation of the first volume of a literary series (written by Nancy Springer), there is no lack of material. Six books have been published so the authors may find inspiration.
But the film’s situation is special. It wasn’t originally a production for Netflix, but for theater. It was the coronavirus pandemic that resulted in a broadcast on the streaming platform.
Director Harry Bradbeer recently told Decide Those talks with Legendary and Netflix were ongoing.
